Ochagavia litoralis-  A fantastic terrestrial Bromeliad, native to Chile.  Forms clumps of up to  2  foot wide rosettes with recurved, marginally spined leaves.  In late summer fantastic, tight  round flowers heads of bright pink are produced!  A great one for the collector and very difficult to find for sale.

 

Full sun in mild climates to at least part shade in hot areas.  Well drained soil with only occasional irrigation when established.

Hardy to approx. 20 degrees F.
