Agave horrida - An exceptional Agave!  Small to medium sized Agave, growing 1-2 feet high by 2-3 feet across.  Dark green leaves with amazing red-brown marginal spines that mature to silvery gray.  A stunning contrast against the dark green leaves.   An absolute knockout in the succulent garden.  Because of its compact size it also makes a fantastic potted specimen!  This particular clone has an AMAZING set of teeth!
 
Full sun (sheltered from direct summer sun in hot climates) and well drained soil.  
Very drought tolerant but grows more quickly with some supplemental summer water.  
Hardy to approx. 20-25 degrees F.
